At 81 after surgery complications, news broke yesterday that Joan Rivers had passed away. Do you really know how funny she was? This woman was hilarious. My fav quote from her is “I succeeded by saying what everyone else was thinking.” She is/was offensive. It depends on your level of sense of humor I suppose. It takes A LOT to offend me, so I get her sense of humor. Not that I’D say some of the things she did but…I got it. She had ZERO filter and I can imagine A LOT of people felt offended by the things she said out loud.
These two clips of her on late night t.v. had me in tears. When she talked about her and Nicole Kidman being condiments. Haaaaaaaaa its so funny cause…it’s true.
Here she is the last time she was on with Fallon. Also, this…might offend you. She was banned from The tonight show for 26 years and March was her first appearance, that’s why I included it. Also, it shows just what kind of humor she had, it’s almost like she TRIED to be offensive. The funniest part about this might be how often Jimmy can’t hold it together.
I learned a lot watching this woman, her presence will defiantly be missed.
