Here are my Top 10 Country Concerts of 2014! There were SO MANY, it was so hard to narrow it down to just 10, hope you enjoy!

10. Rockwoods Jamfest
One of my fav events we do every year and it just keeps getting better and better! Frankie Ballard CLIMBED THE RAFTERS (without a harness) but my fav of the night was Dustin Lynch! What a performer that guy is. SO. Much energy and the crowd was so into it! The Jamfest crowd is always one of my favs too, everyone comes ready to have a GOOD TIME!

9. Jason Aldean, FGL, and Tyler Farr
Our seats for this show were INSANE. We were SO CLOSE. I’m not sure I’ve ever been this close at a show. It was SO MUCH FUN.

“Meet a girl from Minnesota”

Here is FGL and I…my eyes were closed soooo I gave myself some. Ha!
FGL

8. CMT Tour
Sam Hunt’s album “Montevallo” I can listen to front to back and not skip one song 50 times in a row. I LOVE him. This was the first full band show I saw of his, Charlie Worsham KILLLLLS it (I hate the phrase kills it but that’s what he did) on guitar! And Kip Moore, oh Kip Moore. The ONLY artist in a 17 year career that’s made my palms literally sweaty and I can’t talk every time I get around him. Haha I watched him perform from the back side stage and my favorite part was the big ole sweaty hug as soon as he walked off stage ;)

7. Randy Houser
Randy in my opinion has one of the best voices on the radio right now. That man can SANG! I was doing mornings with Paul Koffy when he was at Myth and I stayed the entire show, got 2 hours of sleep because he was soooo good, I just couldn’t leave. Also, local fav Maiden Dixie brought DOWN the house that night as the opener and I love them

My fav Houser song from that night

6. Treetown Music Festival
Last Memorial Weekend I went to the last night of TreeTown to see another one of my favs Chris Young. Last year was the first year for the festival and it couldn’t have been more fun! I had front row for Chris Young and sang. My. Face. Off. I didn’t have to work this show so I also drank. My. Face. Off. Haha I’m pretty sure at some point during Toby Keith (which I’m sure was really good) a co workers mom removed my beer from my hand and I didn’t even notice. Yay! Party! Next year we will all be at Treetown hope you will be there too!

Pretty sure this was when Chris Young noticed our level of party haha

5. Country jam
This was our third year and my personal fav event of the year. We do stage intros, jumbo tron interviews, and spend the weekend meeting and hanging with our awesome listeners and friends. The lineup this year was SO GOOD. I gave Luke Bryan a hug, his show is always so much fun. I interviewed Dustin Lynch and Chris Young. Yay Chris Young again, and Jake Owen…wow does he just radiant energy and fun. I love this weekend.

4. BUZ’N Half DUZ’N
OMG YOU GUYS JUST WAIIIIIT until you hear who is coming in 2015! If you haven’t made it to one of our BUZN Half DUZN shows, you MUST! You will never see anything like it. The artists are soooo cool just doing their thing with their friends on stage with them and you neeever know what’s going to happen. Colt Ford, Tyler Farr and Lee Brice broke out some Eminem last year! It was ammmmmazing plus again we get to party with you all and that’s the BEST part.

BHD Finale!

3 . Keith Urban
I’ve never seen Keith and have been wanting to, my mom loves Keith to so I got her him for Christmas last year! I got a plane ticket, called and got the dates off work for her and flew her here for a fun girls weekend and she met Keith and he was just the sweetest guy to her, took some one on one time with us and it was a cool moment to have with my mom and obviously let’s not forget about the KILLER show he puts on. WOW. See Keith….ASAP!

One of my fav parts of the show! (also, shout out to the person who took this video it’s AWESOME!)

My mama, me and Keith!

2. Rascal Flatts
Ok, so this wasn’t a concert BUT they DID sing in the studio sooo it counts. AND it’s my Top 10 list and I do what I want ;) Rascal Flatts are my favorite fav fav fav! I wish I could tour the country with them and watch their shows every night! They came to the station and sang a couple songs in studio and then we listened to new music off their album “Rewind” before it came out. Gary held my hand and sang to me annnnd I died. TOP 5 lifetime moments for me.

1. Garth Brooks
I’m sure you knew this was going to be #1 how could it not be?! My entire life flashed before me that night. My sister by my side and we sang to every song, laughed, cried, remembered certain life moments with each song…Garth is incredible and worth taking a trip to see him if you didn’t get to see him here. What. A. show. I have no pictures from it because I didn’t touch my phone once. I took in every moment. That was a once in a lifetime night.

Shout outs to the INCREDIBLE local talent I’ve had the pleasure of working with and knowing. If you haven’t seen any of these bands yet, I encourage you to go give them a “like” and get out to a show because you’re missing out!

Maiden Dixie
Shane Martin Band
Mitch Gordon Band
Copperhead Creek
Tim Sigler Band
2 Hicks and a chick
(anyone else I forgot I’m sorry and I love you)

Sentimental Side Note: Looking at this list….I am incredibly blessed beyond words. This was a crazy year and I live out my dream every single day and not one of those days do I take for granted. I hope in some way BUZ’N has made your 2014 highlight reel by providing the soundtrack to your girls road trip or if you won backstage passes or tickets to a show. Cheers to 2014 and let’s make 2015 even better!! Love you all!
